Spring Snook at Sebastian

Spring and Early Summer Snook Bite

Inshore and Inlet fishing for Sebastian and Indian River Snook is about as good as it gets when the tides and winds cooperate.  You can expect a mixed bag of redfish, gator trout and some mighty nice sized snook both in the inshore waters of the Indian River Lagoon and the tidal areas inside Sebastian Inlet.

Giant Gator Trout

Gator Trout Alert!

If you've ever wanted to catch large sea trout the time to do that is NOW! Large trout are flourishing in the shallow water flats in the Mosquito Lagoon and can be found actively feeding. "It's a total Artificial Bite and these usually wary fish are biting hard almost all day long," explains Captain Richard Bradley of Lagooner Fishing Guides.

Redfish & Trout Continue to Bite

Although the cold fronts have been few and far between the ongoing bite for redfish and trout has been solid. Look for weedless artificials to be some of the most popular and effective lures in the shallowest parts of the lagoon.

Large sea trout are common for anglers that can make probing cast into deeper pockets in the sea grass.

Fishing Forecast

June - 2017 Fishing Forecast

June of 2017 is looking to be a hot summer with hot fishing off of East Central Florida near Cocoa Beach. Orlando visitors should anticipate the warm weather and great fishing that coastal and offshore fishing provides in the warm Atlantic Ocean this time of year. Last year in 2016 we saw many tarpon exceeding 100 pounds caught off the Brevard County beaches along with a good amount of sharks, king mackerel and really big Jack Crevelle that kept things interesting. Looking forward to this year's forecast on the Space Coast remember that the coastal waters along the Atlantic seaboard and Ocean will probably be the most productive fishing during the month of June and as we look in to August the ocean will look to be the most inviting destination for anglers in the heat of the Central Florida Summer.

Inshore Charter Fishing in the Banana River Lagoon near Cocoa Beach, Florida. Catch redfish, sea trout, tarpon, snook and many other saltwater gamefish aboard the world famous Lagooner flats fishing boat with renowned Captain Richard Bradley.

We had an outstanding experience with Lagooner! To start, Captain Gina made the booking quick and easy. All follow-up and communication was just like she promised. Once we were on the water, Captain Richard made the day fun for everyone and put us on fish at every stop. I would recommend Lagooner to anyone looking for a charter in Cocoa Beach.
